2025年1月8日，在婁底市第六屆人大四次會議上，鄧玉劍結合調研掌握的縣情、鎮情、民情，提交了《關于將雙峰縣打造成全省百億竹產業高質量發展示范縣的建議》，被列為重點處理建議，市人大常委會督促市林業、財政、發改等部門協同落實。
